Balla Demeter – Weöres Sándor: VÉDETT - NO EXPORT

Scarce photo collection from the famous photographer. The artist's biographies do not mention it and are omitted from the list of his works as well. The fact that a facsimile of the autograph title poem by Sándor Weöres is included indicates that more than one copy was published. Perhaps he made a few copies for his friends. In a witty reference to the metaphor of the kaleidoscope, the book has been cut at the one-third of its pages so that the two parts can be read independently. In a few cases, a full-page photograph has been separated, but for the most part, there are separate photographs on each page. The pictures were taken in the 1960s and 70s. In addition to its undoubted artistic importance, the piece is also fascinating from a literary-historical point of view, as the Weöres text seems unknown to researchers.
