Fáy was a true polymath, one of the fascinating personalities of the reform era. He was considered an unconditional supporter of Széchenyi. In addition to his extensive literary work, his political, economic, and pedagogical works were also published. That is why Pál Szemere called him “the factotum of the homeland”.
