In his pamphlet titled "Oratio ad proceres et nobiles regni Hungariae...", Martinovics calls upon the orders to take action against the abuse of absolutism and the papacy. The pamphlet was banned later. The translator, János Laczkovics made significant changes to soften the sharp anti-Monarchy tone. During the Jacobite prosecution, Laczkovics confessed that his pamphlets were published in 2-300 copies by Mihály Landerer in Buda.
