Útasítás A’ Lotteria bé-szedö Uraknak részére az újj osztályos Lotteria eránt.
The lottery game appeared in Hungary in 1763 when the Italian Octavio Cataldi obtained a concession from the Viennese court to play in Hungary. Gambling, which was taken over by the state under Joseph II, did not take off in Hungary, which may have been partly due to the Austrians' hostility towards it. This may be one of the reasons why such early examples are rare.
