(Nagyszombat), 1738. (Typis Academicis.)
Large engraving printed on silk, issued on the occasion of József Zlinszky, a law student from Nagyszombat, defending his thesis publicly. In the lower part of the allegorical composition, the title is in the middle in a cartouche, and below it in four cartouches is the text of the theses included in the 24 points. The engraving was undoubtedly made in Augsburg, but the academic printing house of Nagyszombat printed the text in the cartouches. János József Rendek worked as a lawyer and taught at the University of Nagyszombat between 1733 and 1748. Our piece is the only known copy (referred to: Magyar Könyvszemle. 1995. 436-438p).
Dimensions: 445 x 585 (530 x 695) mm. Framed.
