First Hungarian edition. The French cartographer, Barbié de Bocage created the illustrations for Jean-Jacques Barthélemy's "Voyage du jeune Anacharsis en Grece" in 1788. Most of the copper engravings are maps, some of them floor plans, views and numismatic plates. The volume and page numbers are indicated at the top of the sheets, but they also have serial numbers at the bottom. In some of the series, the plates are bound in the volumes, but in some cases they accompany the text as the eighth volume, which has its own title page: „A' mappák', plánumok', vidékek' és pénzek' gyűjteményje az Ifju Anacharszis' útazásához. Melyet megelőz Barbié du Bocage világositó értekezése a' mappák' igazolására”.
Contemporary half leather with painted endpapers. Spine richly gilt.
