Copper-engraved view of Győr on the Hungarian certificate of the local millers’ guild.
Issued for András Högye. The image and text – with ornate initials – are in a decorative frame. In the centre above, a crowned Hungarian coat of arms, held by two angels on either side. The picture's foreground is the river Rába, with the walled city behind. The sheet is the work of Gottfried Prixner.
Dated: 9 December 1834
The dimensions of the view are 130 x 380 mm, and the dimensions of the sheet are 420 x 560 mm. With the remains of the wax seal and three signatures. Framed.
